Rock climbing taster day in Snowdonia, North Wales £70pp full day

Snowdonia, North Wales & Anglesey have some amazing rock climbing!

We use some fantastic venues, with hundreds of climbs to choose from,
Great for novices, or for those of you who have climbed at an indoor wall.
Minimum age is 13yrs and parent or legal guardian must take part if booking an under 18yrs old.

One thing is for sure, you will have a brilliant day out climbing on Real Rock!

Where is it? Who is it suitable for? What do I need?

Where?

So we can get the best weather, we use various locations within the Northern area of Snowdonia National Park and coastal areas on Anglesey.
At 09:00 we will  meet you at a central location for onward travel to the climbing venue, aiming to finishing climbing around 4pm.

Some of the locations we use: Holyhead Mountain on Anglesey, Lion Rocks near Llanberis, Castle Inn Quarry near Colwyn Bay, Carreg y Foel Gron near Ffestiniog.

Who is this for?

These taster days are suitable for those who have never climbed indoors or outdoors, or those who have been climbing indoors, we will match the day to your aspirations! As well as plenty of climbing you will also learn to belay a lead climber! under our careful instruction 🙂

Ratios

Ratios are 6 climbers to one instructor.

What kit do I need?

You should have clothing for whatever the weather, But loose fitting or stretchy trousers are great for climbing in, a pair of well fitting trainers to climb in (or your own rock shoes) bring a packed lunch, hot/cold drinks, spare warm layer layers etc.

We will provide climbing harness, climbing helmet, all technical climbing kit, ropes and qualified rock climbing instructors.
