North Wales has some fantastic climbing all year round.
Where else can you go in the UK and have such a diverse type of climbing in such short distances.
If it’s wet in the mountains then a quick drive to the Classic Venues of Tremadog or the coastal cliffs on Anglesey with such delights as Dream Of Horses or an easy VS of Lighthouse Arete. When the weather is good then choose from quick access to classic rock in the Llanberis Pass or how about a multi-pitch mountain classic like Grooved Arete on the stunning Tryfan.
In winter things get really interesting, we might not always get loads of snow, but we do get great mixed ice/turf routes developing in the higher Cwms, with routes from Grade II to VII.
