| Gorge Scrambling is a superb fun filled adventure activity that involves walking, scrambling and some short swims in a mountain gorge. Have a look at a recent gorge scramble movie clip on our Facebook page. We use a gorge scramble called the Afon Ddu which is just outside Betws y Coed. The session takes up the best part of a day with a minimum group size of 4 needed and a maximum of 20. Meeting in Betws Y Coed at 09.00 you will follow our instructors to the gorge where we get changed and spend a few minutes having a brief about safety before heading in to the gorge for the rest of the morning. The gorge scramble usually lasts around 3 hrs maximum with a full group of 15 and around 2 1/2hrs as an average time for smaller groups. There are water slides, squeezes and jumps that you can tackle along the way, this is a great activity that is suitable for all.
