What is Canyoning?

Canyoning involves working your way down a narrow river or gorge, that may have steeper sections needing fixed ropes in places, we will all wear climbing harnesses and cows tails ( 2 lanyards with a carbiner at each end) that we clip in to the fixed ropes, to stay safe in the steeper sections near waterfalls.

We will scramble, swim, slide, dive, jump and zip our way down the canyon pushing your confidence and courage to their limits!

Minimum age is 18yrs old.

What kit will I need?

We provide wetsuits, buoyancy aids, and water sports helmets plus group safety kit and highly experienced instructors who know the venues like the back of their hands.

You will need:

Swim wear for under our wetsuit

Long sleeved synthetic base layer or rash vest for under our wetsuit

Thick socks

Pair of trainers or boots with laces – no wetsuit boots or aqua shoes as they are not supportive enough and also not always very grippy!
