Have a great day out in the mountains on one of our guided walks to the top of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa is the Welsh name).

The new summit building Hafod Eryri is finally open and waiting for you to reach the highest cafe in the UK.

We usually meet at Pen y Pass at the top of the Llanberis valley. Then we head to the summit by way of the PYG Track, returning on the Miners Path.

An average round trip time is 6hrs. Don't worry you don't need to be super fit as we always go at a gentle but steady pace, it does help if you have a good level of general fitness to let you enjoy the walk and the mountain scenery.

This walk is open to individuals and groups of all abilities and ages but we do ask that if you are under 18 that a parent or legal guardian accompanies you.

You will need to have correct footwear and clothing for walking on rough tracks in a mountain environment. We would recommend sturdy walking shoes (not trainers or street footwear) or suitable walking boots, in the summer months walking boots/shoes that are lightweight are ideal otherwise we would recommend walking boots, whether they are made from leather or synthetic with leather is up to you. A small day sack is handy for your food and drink for the day, up to 25Lt in size is ideal. Even in the summer mountain weather can be very fickle so its best to have enough clothing and waterproofs for every eventuality. We can always give you advice about things you may be thinking of buying if you are coming in to the mountains with us.

All our instructors are qualified Mountain Leaders as a minimum.

Other guided walks can be from gentle riverside strolls in Beddgelert where we can follow the river into the Aberglasyn Gorge and then learn about the Story of 'Gelert' and the myths and kings of North Wales, or how about a walk form Betws Y Coed again following a twisting tranquil river through ancient forests to the famous 'Swallow Falls' water fall.

Or if you fancy something a little more adventurous there are plenty of walks around the Moelwynion hills where you could follow the paths made centuries ago by local mine workers as we trace there daily work path starting through gentle wide pastures then into narrower stream beds as we climb higher, past the old winch houses and on to the tops where we can stop for lunch with stunning views of the surrounding area before descending through colourful heather hillsides back into Beddgelert.

If your a seasoned hill walker and would like to enjoy some of Snowdonia's more demanding walks, Our Mountain days offer something altogether different, from rolling hills to steep scrambles, visit 'The Cnicht' (The Welsh Matterhorn) and take in the panoramic views of Snowdon on one side to the Rhinogau on the otherside with Porthmadog and its Estuary in front of you and you may even see the local Ospreys.

We can provide guided walks for your family or group pretty much anywhere in the National Park. If you have a particular place that you would like to visit simply get in touch and we will see what we can do.
